At Chapin Ambulance, our Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics are Massachusetts and National Registry Certified providers; trained to deliver both Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support care. Our team is prepared to respond to a wide range of emergent and non-emergent situations, while following applicable state protocols, clinical guidelines, and best practices, to support the safest and most effective patient outcomes possible.

Our providers bring not only clinical training and field experience, but also strong knowledge of the communities, roadways, healthcare facilities, and service areas throughout Western Massachusetts. This local familiarity helps our crews respond efficiently, navigate effectively, and provide dependable care when patients, families, facilities, and communities need us most.

EMTs and Paramedics are the foundation of every ambulance service, and Chapin Ambulance is committed to maintaining a team that is professional, capable, compassionate, and well-prepared. Prior to working independently in the field, our providers complete a thorough hiring, orientation, and field training process. They also participate in ongoing continuing education, skills review, and quality improvement efforts to ensure that we continue meeting the needs of our patients and clients with confidence and professionalism.

In addition to emergency medical services, Chapin Ambulance provides non-emergent stretcher transportation for hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, healthcare providers, and patients requiring safe transportation to and from appointments, dialysis treatments, facility transfers, discharges, and other medically necessary destinations. Special transportation requests may be reviewed in advance to determine whether appropriate accommodations can be made.

Chapin Ambulance also offers long-distance ambulance transportation when scheduled in advance and coordinated properly with our dispatch and operations team.

Our goal is to provide reliable service, professional communication, and high-quality patient care from the moment transportation is requested through the completion of every call. We strive to deliver the level of customer service, compassion, and dependability that patients, families, facilities, and community partners deserve.
